Deposits
A $500 non-refundable deposit secures your place on a current litter or future waitlist and is applied toward the final puppy price. Deposits are transferable between eligible DreamDoods litters during the applicable retention period.
Because coat type, gender, and colouring depend on nature, specific traits within a pairing cannot be guaranteed.
Deposit credits are valid for three (3) years from the date the original deposit is received. After three years, the deposit credit expires unless DreamDoods approves an extension or exception in writing.
Deposits are accepted by e-transfer within Canada and PayPal for international families.
Final Payment
Final payment for your puppy is due when the puppies reach six (6) weeks of age or two (2) weeks before the schedules go-home date, whichever comes first.
DreamDoods may approve an installment or payment arrangement upon request. Any approved arrangement must be agreed upon in advance, and the full balance must be paid no later than the time the puppies reach six (6) weeks of age.
Any additional fees for services such as training, extended stay, or other agreed-upon arrangements are also due at this time.
For puppies being adopted after six (6) weeks of age, full payment is due at the time of adoption.
Delivery or transportation arrangements, if required, will also be finalized at the this time.

Visitation & Virtual Updates
DreamDoods puppies are raised inside the private homes of our Puppy Care Team rather than in a traditional kennel facility. Our visitation process is intentionally structured to prioritize puppy health, family privacy, and a calm early-life environment.
In-Person Visits
We do not offer routine drop-in visits or open public hours. In-person visits take place during our scheduled Open House Weekend, typically around six weeks of age, and are reserved for families who have already reserved a puppy from the litter.
If puppies remain available after reservations are confirmed, DreamDoods may extend in-person visitation to families who are seriously considering adoption. Exceptions may be considered in special circumstances.
Virtual Puppy Updates
Families are invited to participate in weekly virtual puppy visits from the time of their initial video call through go-home day. These optional sessions allow families to watch their puppy grow, observe personality development, and stay connected throughout the journey.
Participation is optional but strongly encouraged, particularly for families who are not local.
Selection Order
Selection order is based on the sequence in which deposits are received.
At approximately five weeks of age, families participate in a guided virtual meeting where temperament, personality, and other developmental observations are shared to help families make informed puppy selection decisions.
Families with flexible preferences may have access to a broader range of available puppies and may be able to complete their selection sooner.
Pick-up and Transportation
DreamDoods offers several puppy transportation options designed to accommodate families while prioritizing the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of each puppy.
Pick-Up Options
Families may arrange local pickup in Burlington or Ottawa, or coordinate delivery or transportation to their location.
Pickup details and addresses are provided once a family has committed to adopting a puppy. This helps protect the privacy of our Puppy Care Team and allows us to coordinate go-home day safely and smoothly.
Ground Transportation
DreamDoods offers hand-delivered ground transportation within Canada, including a flat-rate shuttle between our Burlington & Ottawa locations for families who prefer to pick up their puppy from either location.
Air Transportation
For families who live farther away, transportation may be arranged by flight nanny or airline cargo, depending on distance, airline requirements, availability and what is determined to be appropriate for the puppy.
Families may also fly to pickup and return home with them in-cabin where permitted by the airline and applicable regulations. Airport coordination may be available through:
-
Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
-
Ottawa International Airport (YOW)

Families arranging airport pickup must provide their complete flight itinerary at least ten (10) days before pickup so that we have sufficient time to coordinate the handoff and any required transportation arrangements.
Delivery Fees
Delivery and transportation fees vary based on location and method. Additional costs may apply for required health certificates, transportation arrangements, airline fees, approved carriers, or other travel requirements.
Delivery quotes are available upon request.
Health Guarantee
Every DreamDoods puppy comes with a two-year genetic health guarantee covering qualifying life-threading genetic defects for two years from the puppy's date of birth.
The health guarantee is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions contained in the Adoption Agreement. View a sample Health Guarantee here.
Breeding Rights
DreamDoods puppies are placed as companion pets and are not sold with breeding rights.
Breeding rights may be considered only for approved ethical breeding programs and must be agreed upon with DreamDoods in advance.
