We're thrilled you're considering a DreamDoods puppy! To ensure a smooth adoption and the well-being of our dogs, here's a summary of our adoption agreement. 

 

Companion Pet Only

Your Dreamdoods puppy is intended as a companion pet only and cannot be used for breeding or show purposes. We don't guarantee adult size, conformation, color, or coat pattern.

 

Spay / Neuter Agreement

You agree to spay or neuter your puppy before it turns one year old. Proof of this procedure may be required.

2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

Your puppy comes to you in good health, with current vaccinations and deworming. We guarantee against life-threatening genetic defects for two years from the date of birth.

• Veterinarian Check-Up: You must have your puppy examined by a licensed vet within 5 business days of receiving them to validate this guarantee.

• Reporting Defects: If a life-threatening genetic defect is diagnosed, you must notify us immediately in writing with your vet's diagnosis. 

• Replacement Only: If a covered defect is confirmed, we will replace your puppy with one of similar value from an upcoming litter. Cash refunds are not offered.

• Exclusions: This guarantee does NOT cover minor issues like umbilical hernias, undescended testicles, puppy teeth misalignments or improper bites, allergies, or Grade 1 or 2 heart murmurs.

Buyer’s Responsibilities

You commit to providing your puppy with excellent routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and preventative medications.

• Guarantee Validity: For the health guarantee to remain valid, routine care is essential. Neglect, abuse, or health issues caused by the buyer (e.g., injuries, poor diet, obesity-related issues) will void the guarantee.

• Proof of Care: Vet records will be required if a replacement dog is requested.

• Shipping Costs: You are responsible for all shipping costs related to returning or replacing a puppy.

• Right to Repossess: If the dog is neglected or abused, Dreamdoods reserves the right to repossess the dog with no refund.

 

Right of Refusal

If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from keeping your dog, you must notify Dreamdoods in writing immediately.

• First Right to Take Back: Dreamdoods has the first right to take the dog back.

• No Abandonment: You agree not to abandon your dog or surrender it to a shelter, pound, or pet store without consulting us first.

• Rehoming Assistance: We will help you find a suitable new home while the dog remains in your care.

• No Refund: Whether we take the dog back or it's rehomed, no refund will be issued.

 

General Terms

• This guarantee covers genetic health only and does not cover post-sale care or mortality.

• This agreement is binding only upon the original Buyer and cannot be transferred.
